What's amazing from M&S?

Doing my first Ocado shop. Used to love browsing M&S food but haven't been able to get out for a few months due to bad health and finding it hard to choose what's delicious online. Particularly keen on things that are easy to cook/ready to eat, feel like something special, things you can only get from M&S or that are especially nice vs normal supermarket food. I've ordered some of the light up Christmas biscuit tins which I'll put out when we start on the decorating.

Any great tips?

X2 cream eclairs (the chocolate is thick!)
Lemon curd iced buns
Tuscan sausage penne pasta
Katsu chicken tenders
Their cotton candy grapes!
Garlic flat breads

These are my actual essentials...

If you have kids Ocado also sell moon & star pasta which my kids love. Garofalo and £2.75, but I just give the same weight portion as any other pasta and it lasts a while!

Ocado also do an absolutely magical descaler, it's honestly the best thing I've ever used. Ocado own brand, keeps my kettle sparkling!

I love the gastropub kiev and the posh truffled Mac and cheese they do. Also love their gastropub cheesecake bombe things.

It sounds boring but the Carrot and Swede mash is delicious

Gastrointestinal deal - chicken Kiev with dauphinois potatoes…. Heartburn ventral but so delicious

Chocolate covered custard creams? Why on earth didn't somebody tell me this BEFORE I went shopping today?

The padron peppers….. we cook them in garlic and light soy sauce ….just love then 😋

Their pizzas are to die for. And their vegan southern fried chicken tenders are the best fake meat I've ever tasted, they're actually better than the real meat version!

I think the Picard frozen croissants are better than the M and S ones - they're just delicious.

For anyone racing to order the chocolate covered custard creams just be aware that there are only 6 in a pack !!

Feel free to report the thread and get MNHQ to check the proportion of regular posters vs suspicious newbies. The actual posts don't feel off to me - although why the OP would want to name change for something so innocuous is beyond me. Maybe she works for Tesco?

Agreed, I tried them for the first time recently and was really impressed, absolutely delicious.

Although a lot of M&S food is good, a lot of their biscuits and cakes contain palm oil so it seems a bit of a rip off to pay premium prices for cheap ingredients. M&S if you are reading this marketing thread, then please clean up your act and stop stuffing your food with cheap and nasty palm oil, frankly at your prices your customers deserve better.
