Is broccoli soup a thing?

I've a ton of broccoli
Can I make soup with it?
Is it vile?! 🤣

Roast broccoli is lovely - especially is you sprinkle a tbsp dry cider over it 5 mins before done.

I make my broccoli soup with onion fried to brown and soft (normally about 20 mins), add garlic and cook for 2 mins, then add stock, seasoning, a potato chopped into small pieces, brocoli and a rinsed tin of borlotti or any white bean, cook for approx 15 mins, then wiz with a hand blender. Not for too long though otherwise it goes gloopy which isn’t nice.

can also add frozen peas which is also great.

Delicious in the Soup maker
Chopped broccoli. pepper, garlic, half an onion fried first, veggie stock cube. cream and water. Then add cheese after. Dinners done in less than 30 minutes.
