Roast lamb not big enough

I invited some of dh family for lunch tomorrow. I have a lovely deboned, marinated leg of lamb in the freezer which I want to use. With 4 adults, one (hungry) pre- teen and 2 children who love meat, 1.2kg felt OK - although I was going to do a packet of sausages as an extra, for kids mainly. But now we have another (meat loving) adult coming and it is starting to feel less OK. I could absolutely bulk up meal with more sides. But this is sort of a delayed easter meal and I feel like I want generous meat portions.

Do i:

Leave existing lamb in freezer and buy a new, bigger joint?
Or
Buy a second smaller joint to have alongside (but will be different as existing one is marinated, organic, from a farm etc
...)
Or
Do some other meat accompaniment?!

A stuffed rolled joint lamb is a pretty traditional dish in the UK surely? Though I’m not sure about sausages with lamb!!

Of course you can stuff rolled lamb but the stuffing is in the meat and that’s not what OP’s serving anyway.

No. Everyone will want the lamb and you can't trust children to want the sausages - Sod's Law they will hoover it all up while your SIL looks on fondly, commenting that it is their favourite. And you won't get any :-)

This! The op was talking about leg or shoulder which you don't stuff!

Of course you can stuff a boned leg of lamb, which is what OP’s got.

The OP said it was a deboned leg of lamb. Scramble about all you want love but it's traditional to stuff that 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣.

I bought a new joint. Was delicious, but now just need opportunity to eat the original one!
