It sounds OK, but does not excite me not inspire me to make it. A bit dull, really. And lard? In a country full of vegetarians and with a large Muslim population?
I wonder whether Coronation Chicken stirred feelings of "Ew, why are they messing about adding foreign muck to good British chicken? Hmm don't inspire me to try it" in the 50s?
I love Coronation Chicken, and it can be made into a casserole, too, if you want it as a hot meal.
