Different ideas for using up Greek Yoghurt

I've acquired a large pot of Greek yoghurt, looking for some new ideas for how to use it, ideally for a main course.
Usually, I'd make tandoori chicken or tsatsiki or add it to smoothies/ bowls of fruit. These will be my fall back, but I'm always amazed at the lovely suggestions MN comes up with and always happy to try new recipes.

Please don't tempt me with cake recipes as I try to avoid cakes apart from special occasions!

Fortuitous post! I use Greek yogurt in pancakes. Whatever amount of milk required substitute at least half for Greek yogurt. Makes lovely fluffy thick pancakes!

Potato salad with Greek yoghurt & herbs or spring onions.

Stir finely chopped watercress into Greek yoghurt for a quick sauce with salmon.

Stir Greek yoghurt & chopped smoked salmon ( or flaked tinned tuna ) into taliatelle.

Stir Greek yoghurt, cooked peas, broccoli florets, asparagus into cooked pasta for a quick Pasta Primavera.

I've just got a really great book called Persian by Sabrina Ghayour.
She has a really easy and delicious recipe for flatbread with Greek yoghurt and another for golden pepper, cheese and courgette kuku which also uses Greek yoghurt. It's like a Persian frittata and is delicious. I make it for our packed lunches as we're all bored witless of sandwiches..

yes, this dressing! My comment cut off for some reason but I meant to link this green goddess recipe which I have made before and loved. I hate mayo so replaced that with more yogurt and it worked really nicely.

Here's a recipe using cup measurements. I used to make it when my DH was on a yeast-free diet.

Make labneh - like a light cream cheese. Mix in a good pinch of salt, then drain for 24 hours in the fridge, in a lined sieve over a bowl. Lovely with Lebanese style foods

I've done that with a spoon of cream cheese before - never thought about yoghurt, thank you.

Use it as you would use cream.

You can strain it to make cheese.

It last well past its BB day.

I stick blend a too hard avocado and Greek yog for guac and it saves a shit avo.

Like Pps - flatbreads, tzatsiki, I add in to Cakes as a replacement for fat.
