What's your favourite 'odd' meal??

What's your favourite meal / dish / snack which you know is kind of weird /gross but you love it anyway?

I'll go first, mine is tinned chicken curry (any brand will do 😂)mixed with pasta , with grated cheese on top. I don't know why but I just love it!!

No judgement here, so tell me, what's yours??

I recommend Grace Dent'' Comfort Eating podcast where she talks to celebrities about this very thing. Russell T Davies has a thing called 'butter, pepper, rice' that I still want to try.

One of those tubs of ready made mash you can stick in the microwave, with butter, cheese, sweetcorn and gravy. Yum. Mash is my comfort food.

I do this but with peas! It's like a roast dinner without the roast, lush.

Oooh... this reminds me strongly of an Italian girl I house shared with... butter, pepper, dried mint and pasta. This was her comfort meal.

My FIL's Boxing day breakfast was always a white bread sandwich with ham, cheese and marmalade.

I have since taken on that crown. Smile

one can condensed mushroom soup

Mix together and heat

serve on top of microwave rice with grated cheese on top.

Delicious!

This is mine but I also add pasta and top with cheese - a big tray of it used to last me all week with brown sauce added , just as good cold as hot too

Good quality chopped tinged tomatoes in a brown with a lot of HP sauce, microwaved. And toast for dipping. My DH thinks it’s bonkers, I think it’s perfectly normal

Noodles (preferably chicken supernoodles) with butter, salt and vinegar and chilli stirred in. I’ve also converted my dd 😁

Baked beans and pasta, with some red onion thrown in if I'm being healthy 😂student food at its absolute best
I've also a weird love of plain boiled pasta (fusili is best) doused in malt vinegar. lovely.

Yep delicious! I also like cold Yorkshire puddings with jam and cream. One of dds favourites used to be fishfingers and custard (because of Matt Smith's Dr Who😆)
