Aside from using it to dip crudités in.

Sandwich

bengalcat · 16/09/2022 11:21

Yum - put it on buttery toast

MrsWooster · 16/09/2022 11:21

Let it sit in the fridge for a week telling the children how they ought to like it because it’s healthy and lovely. Then throw it away.

Winterfellismyhome · 16/09/2022 11:22

Warm pitta

CustardPatella · 16/09/2022 11:22

Mix with pasta

ODFOx · 16/09/2022 11:24

Melba toast
Or in a wrap or pita with roasted vegetables (cold).
With falafel and salad.

Bobbins36 · 16/09/2022 11:28

eat it with my bare hands from the tub, standing at the fridge.

Titterofwit · 16/09/2022 11:32

Eat the top 1/8 th as soon as I get it home.
Leave the rest in the fridge for a week because i cant decide what to do with it and then throw it out as its now become 'fridgey'.

🤣

I'd probably eat it with some breadsticks or in a pitta with salad or something! I'd definitely eat it.

Ginisatonic · 16/09/2022 11:36

Put it in a jacket potato.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 16/09/2022 11:38

Stir fry some veg with quorn chicken pieces or chunks of halloumi, add the houmous and stir for a minute until warm, put in a wrap.
known as manky houmous wraps chez nous.

SatinHeart · 16/09/2022 11:41

Try and give it away - it's one of the worst of the flavoured hummuses!

If it was a nicer flavour (red pepper is my favourite) I'd have it on toast/crackers/ryvita with a bit of side salad for lunch.

declutteringmymind · 16/09/2022 11:41

Eat it using kettle chips as a scoop

Takingturnstogether · 16/09/2022 11:42

Use it instead of tomato base on a home made pizza.

Dilbertian · 16/09/2022 11:50
  1. Not buy it.

  2. Whoever bought it can eat it.

  3. If it's sitting in the fridge unloved and uneaten - which it would be - I'd disappear it into a vegetable soup or meat sauce, because I hate food waste.

StarlingsInTheRoof · 16/09/2022 11:52

I would roast up some Mediterranean veggies, fry some haloumi and serve with pitta and the hummus.

addler · 16/09/2022 11:52

Thanks all!

Yes we normally have a plain one or the red pepper one, but DP decided 'this would make a nice change' Hmm but equally don't want it to go to waste!

Give it to me!

OldTinHat · 16/09/2022 11:58

Throw my face in it and lick the tub clean.

NinHuguenAndTheHuguenNotes · 16/09/2022 12:20

I would throw it in the compost bin. I love hummus. I love caramelised onion. But not in the same tub.

Not helpful😬

PeloFondo · 16/09/2022 12:28

Put it in a wrap with falafel

LionessesRules · 16/09/2022 12:30

Bin it.

KirstenBlest · 16/09/2022 18:56

salad & hummus wraps.
I'd eat it but prefer plain

MsChatterbox · 16/09/2022 18:59

Yum I love that one for dipping cheese twists in (the ones from the cracker section) sooo good.

Slartibartfast42 · 17/09/2022 22:54

I like it on toast If there's any left in the tub by the time the toast pops up
