What’s your weirdest snack?

DP recoils in horror every time I eat a bowl of peas with salt, pepper and a bit dollop of mayonnaise but I think it’s a delicious snack.

What’s the weirdest thing you snack on?

I also eat bovril on toast like others eat marmite.

Salt & vinegar crisps dipped in Greek yoghurt or fromage frais

Peanut butter with red pepper (or any other colour pepper

Tinned sardines mashed with tomato ketchup on buttered Ryvita

Scrambled eggs with grated cheese and chilli flakes.

My nanna used to give me them when I was little. Very fond memories.

My grandad used to put evaporated milk in his tea and coffee. Lovely, but way to bad for me now

Cheese on toast with beans on top that has loads of salad cream mixed in, more cheese on top then a drizzle of brown sauce.

Ada - I have cream cheese & jam on digestive biscuits. Like mini cheesecakes.

Salt & vinegar French Fries (crisps) used to scoop Seriously Spreadable cheese out of the tub.

Digestive biscuits with primula cheese spread on top

Lime pickle and cheese toastie. Food of the gods.

And I'm sorry but the ultimate crisp sandwich is made from seabrook cheese and onion crisps, Wensleydale or Cheshire cheese and salad cream in warburtons extra thick toastie spread with proper butter.

I eat the gherkins out of the jar, dp thinks it's weird ... I'm very much not pregnant, I've always done it

No me, but a woman I used to work with used to snack on a boiled egg with a couple of crackers and peanut butter. Every day.

A former boss of mine used to dip cheese & onion crisps into creme eggs.

White bread with condensed milk. Though I prefer the posher version where the bread is toasted and buttered. Heaven but not healthy.

@Marmelace is that what it's called? I love that but never knew it had a name! Is it regional? I'm in Yorkshire. My gran used to do this for me and my siblings when we stayed at hers and I've loved it ever since. My kids think I'm barmy 😂

I'm not sure, my nanna was from the Wirral, I think it's a Liverpool name for them. She used to make treacle butties too, which were awful 😄

My nanna went through rationing, so maybe it was a wartime recipe?

@Marmelace oh we had treacle sandwiches too, the golden stuff not the black molasses type. Also my gran who made us that. She was broad Yorkshire.

That's a good point, my gran lived through rationing too so could be.

My favourite snacks are;

• those broccoli and cheese pasta Bachelors dehydrated bags mixed with tinned sweet corn

• instant noodles (chicken flabvour) with beaten egg
