Just for fun and a little inspiration what's on your perfect brunch menu?

Just to add a late entry... Omelette Arnold Bennett with a pile of watercress on the side. Delicious!!

Melted cheese on toast
Fruit bowl
Toad in the hole or bubble and squeak

Definitely eggs.

My favourite at the moment is boiled eggs (bit runny) chopped up when hot, mixed with butter and crispy chilli oil and spread on toasted sourdough.

Toasted sourdough with hummus, kimchi and fried egg.

Lorne sausage in a roll for an artery hardener, or shakshuka with fresh crusty bread (ideally still warm from the oven).

Shakshuka with fresh Turkish bread.

Or, an entire Turkish breakfast.

Avocado mashed with lemon juice, chilli flakes, salt and pepper, on sourdough toast, with fried chorizo on top.
A lot of places that do brunch offer an endless variety of egg dishes. Take them away! I can't eat soft eggs any more; I wish they'd be more imaginative (nor do I want weird vegan concoctions of highly processed ingredients).

Dream brunch would be:

A small portion of French toast with sliced banana and maple syrup
Coffee

Then:
Small bowl of thick Greek yogurt with berries

Then:
Bubble and squeak, crispy bacon, poached egg, wild mushrooms
Freshly squeezed orange juice
