Blueberry french toast

Toasted rye bread with roasted baby plum tomatoes, mashed avocado with a pinch of chilli, home made potato and carrot hash browns, grilled halloumi, garlic mushrooms, smoky baked beans and a nice soya flat white with a fresh orange juice.

Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with wholemeal toast. Buck's fizz. Fresh berries and Greek yoghurt.

Fried chicken and gravy on waffles with a Bloody Mary

Eggs Benedict and a glass of champagne

Yogurt honey and homemade granola
Fruit salad (all the berries in the summer or tropical in the winter)
Streaky bacon
Fresh bread for bacon sandwiches or toast
Waffles and maple syrup

And lots of coffee/ juice

Sourdough toast with real butter, avocado, scrambled eggs and crispy streaky bacon. Coffee and fresh orange and grapefruit juice.

Arbroath Smokie with poached egg and a big hunk of buttered bread.
French toast with pancetta and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Sourdough toasted, topped with scrambled eggs done with chorizo, sour cream and chives, with a cappuccino and glass of champagne.

Vegetarian breakfast plate - halloumi, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, some sort of fresh zingy dip or salsa, toast. Prosecco!

Man alive I love brunchy breakfasts

Full English with chips. Toast (thick white bread). Mug of tea. My hangover cure for many a year when I was younger.

Basically everything really! I’d be happy with some really nice bread toasted with proper butter.

I went to brunch in Miami in a fancy hotel where you could choose a load of things a la carte (small portions) and it was amazing.

Ideal would be:

Eggs Benedict
Granola with yogurt and honey
Biscuits with gravy and corned beef hash
Fresh berries

So many great ideas! I'm starving now!

3 options for me!

1. My Dad's 4 course brunches

• Fresh fruit salad - grapefruit, orange, cherries, raspberries
• Greek yogurt, granola, honey
• Bacon (baked in the oven until crispy), crispy bottom runny yoke fried eggs, roast tomatoes and mushrooms with garlic, mashed avocado with sea salt, toast with butter, tea and Clementine Juice
• toasted crumpet with jam to finish. It's legendary, he made it for my pals growing up, Christmas morning, for boyfriends and now makes it for me, husband and kids when we stay ❤️

1. The 'Surname' Sandwich (this is my surname obviously not going to write it but does begin with S 🤣)

Seeded sourdough bread, spread with mashed avocado and salt, crispy streaky smoked bacon, fried egg, hot sauce. Coffee by the bucket, and a croissant to finish.

1. 'Dishoom Style' breakfast

Crispy bacon and a fried egg with chopped chilli sprinkled in while cooking (sensing a theme!!), Sliced avocado, roast tomatoes on the vine all piled on top of flat bread/naan bread, spread with aubergine pickle, or lime pickle

Could go on. Brunch is the best.

Ooh melted cheese on crumpets with fried eggs and hot sauce!

Freshly baked morning roll, buttered top and bottom, with a filling of 2 sausages, tattie scone and a fried egg. Mug of tea. Heaven.
