I’ll go first as an early doors delight from M&S -

Truffle filled Brie

Think it was £10 in store but I’ve seen it since on Ocado with 1/3 off.

IT’S GORGEOUS Grin

My roast potatoes were beyond amazing this year. More crunch than spud in some cases but so delicious

Dauphinois potatoes. Always.

And sweet food had to be the Aldi
White chocolate and raspberry layered pavlova

I enjoyed my homemade stuffing very much. It was a Good Housekeeping recipe and nothing out of the ordinary, just sage and onion, but it was delicious if I do say so myself. Had another chunk for lunch today along with some PIBs and some cheese.

Apparently my homemade (Mary Berry) Xmas pud was also good. I don’t eat it, but MIL gave it her seal of approval which made me glow with silly schoolgirl pride. She liked it so much she asked to take some home. Grin

@PermanentTemporary

Tesco Christmas pudding was excellent, really delicious.
I’m actually going to Tesco today - specifically to get more of their 12m matured Christmas puddings. It was delicious with Morrisons brandy cream

My own cauliflower cheese not to toot my own horn or anything! Grin

Christmas Day starter, mixed seafood cocktail in Marie Rose.

The Turkey! I cooked it breast down and rested it thus and it was so damn juicy and tasty. Was the local butcher's and about 15/20 quid but we have had about 12 meals out of it.

I made key lime pie from good food website. Amazing.
Also black bomber cheese from Waitrose.

Spinninsweetness · 31/12/2021 04:13

Prawn burgers from Waitrose! Bloody lovely 😍

I had Covid at Christmas so did not feel like eating much. I did have my Christmas meal of Gregg's Vegan sausage roll which would normally have made me very happy but I really did not taste anything. However, as I got better, I had a tiny Christmas pud with Baileys cream which I certainly tasted!

A red cabbage/apple/onion recipe from Delia online that said it's the one she uses. So delicious.
Also got sent some a selection of Welsh chocolate and fudge which was amazing. When it arrived I thought 'that's a year's supply'. Didn't work out that way. www.mumsnet.com/emo/tch/2.gif.pagespeed.ce.qFHypA9pc8.gif
