I'm making a grazing board, what would you like?

You're invited for a casual lunchtime grazing board and drinks scenario this weekend. What would you make a beeline for?

I've got:
Warm sourdough slices
Crackers
Smoked cheddar
Shropshire blue
La roule soft cheese
Camembert
Hummus
Continental meat selection
Olives stuffed with garlic
Peppadews stuffed with cream cheese
Pretzels
Pringles (lowering the tone)
Grapes
Celery sticks
Carrot batons

What am I missing?

Nuts?
Sun dried tomatoes

But it’s a yummy selection as it is. What time shall I arrive?

Cherry tomatoes?
Other than that you've got everything I would be looking for in a grazing situation!

Hungarian salami - the best salami in existence.

What time should I arrive?

Very nice selection of food but please don't put them all touching each other. Nightmare for people with food allergies/intolerances or people who don't eat certain foods for religious/ethical/other reasons.

Sounds amazing, I like fresh figs and orange slices on mine too, agree with the nuts.

Can I have my Cheddar non-smoked please?

I’d look for some hand wash for everyone and then separate plates to put everything back on

Grazing boards are a nightmare for cross contamination and germs from people who haven’t washed their hands after having a wee then gone straight for the salami

Also love a dip selection to accompany - chutneys or sour cream chives dip etc.

Dips for veg/pringles etc

Cornichons, Parma ham, salami, alioloi dip, pickled walnuts, jalapeño jam.

You're missing a nice Rioja, but I'll bring that!

I wouldn't eat from a grazing board with anyone outside of my own household these days! If you must, offer many small plates with tongs/spoons, and have a serving area away from the table.

Chutneys/jelly/membrillo for the cheese. I'm also rather fond of pickled onions and gerkins to go with the cheddar, the little onions in balsamic are delish

... but since you have Shropshire Blue, I would be a happy camper whatever else you supplied!

Non smoked, non garlicky, non blue cheese.

I like my cheese mild (and boring).

I also Wensleydale with cranberries.

I agree this kind of arrangement can be great for those with allergies as long as stuff is easily separated. Second the addition of tomatoes and third/fourth the request for an invite 😄 hope it goes great

If I was coming id eat most of the stuff you’ve suggested but probably not any of it if it was all on one grazing board, they make me feel sick! One giant sweaty mess, all sat mingling into each other
Dry crisp crackers sat going damp at the edges from wet ham or oily cheese. Bleurgh!
Stick it all on paper plates and bowls (or leave it all in the packaging on the side!) if you have literally nothing else but there’s no need for it all to be touching each other

Lovely! Definitely some sort of chutney or quince needed. And wine.
