Where can I buy Paneer?

I know, I know...but I've never seen it in my local supermarket and because of Covid I don't fancy trudging around everywhere trying to find it.
I have pretty much all the supermarkets in my large town, but it's a very non-diverse town, and I've never seen it round here?

I saw some in M&S today - but we are in S London.

Big Tesco do it. I don’t have it in my local Tesco but I can get it when I order online, which comes from a larger store.

I always get it in Morrisons

I've bought it from larger Tesco shops, but their smaller supermarkets and TescoMetro don't have it in stock.

Big Tesco, big Sainsburys. Not usually in small ones unless in an area where there are lots of Asian-origin families

I always used to buy it in Sainsburys but it has completely disappeared. I am wondering if there may be import issues at the moment. I am in a big city though so could go to the nearest Asian supermarket (when I start going in shops again).

It’s not difficult to make if you can’t find it. Just need a lot of milk.

Waitrose

Morrison's have an Asian chiller section

We used to buy it from Morrisons but it's only available in areas with a high Asian demographic.

We have been ordering it online and use this website.

It is delivered by DPD and comes in a cool bag as it should be kept refrigerated.

I live in a part of the UK with a very low number of people from ethnic minorities, and paneer can be found in every supermarket. Even our local Tesco, which isn't very large, stocks it.

If you can't find paneer you can use halloumi instead. Once you have made a curry I doubt that you could tell the difference.

I’m going to give this a bash.

It's in my local Morrison's. We are in the north east in a not very diverse area. It's just among the feta and halloumi etc at the end of the aisle.

Waitrose . Was on offer for £1 a few weeks ago when I last bought it .

I buy ours at the local Asian shop.

You're lucky @GrannyHaddock. My nearest Asian supermarket is a 30 mile round trip.
