Where can I buy Paneer?

I know, I know...but I've never seen it in my local supermarket and because of Covid I don't fancy trudging around everywhere trying to find it.
I have pretty much all the supermarkets in my large town, but it's a very non-diverse town, and I've never seen it round here?

I've had it from Asda but only via delivery so no idea whereabouts in the shop it is. Definitely not in a diverse area, would expect all big supermarkets to stock it.

It's usually in the cheese not near the mozzarella and halloumi cheeses: it'll be in a similar watery plastic bag. In all supermarkets around here too.

Literally three ingredients to make - whole milk and lemon juice (actually citric acid powder works best if you can get it) and salt.
Heat the milk, add the juice. After 15 mins strain through a cloth (muslin, tea towel, proper straining cloth, etc). Sprinkle contents of cloth with salt. Press contents (still in cloth) between two heavy plates or similar and refrigerate for a few hours.

Or order from Ocado

All the big stores do it. Its usually next to the halloumi

The Asian shop paneer looks like a bargain to me: a 500g block is £2.50, or diced, £2.75. The brand is Homeville, it's vacuum wrapped. Meera Sohda's butter paneer masala is highly recommended! It's easily our favourite non-meat dish.

Found it in M&S - but Aldi didn't have it which was annoying
