Porridge oats 5 packets!

JamieLeesCurtains · 07/01/2021 00:13

Tinned spaghetti. DS has 'gone off it'. Thanks, DS. I've got 14 tins.

Going to the food bank.

Edgeoftheledge · 07/01/2021 00:14

Rice pasta

NovemberR · 07/01/2021 00:14

I always have lots of tinned tomatoes.

I don't like tinned tomatoes...

NovemberR · 07/01/2021 00:16

Also got about 6 bags of expensive ground proper coffee because I'm addicted to the stuff and it was half price.

Pagan101 · 07/01/2021 00:17

Noodles of all flavours. About 12 packets. I bought them because DD was obsessed with them and guess what.. she's gone off them now.

NeedCoffeeToSurvive · 07/01/2021 00:18

Biscuits, we're a bit biscuit mad in this house. Multiple packets of chocolate digestives, Scottish shortbread fingers, jammie dodgers, custard creams, chocolate bourbons, oat biscuits and a bunch of others plus a big box of Fox's luxury biscuit selection. Me and my partner can empty a packet in a few minutes with a good cup of tea.

MissDollyMix · 07/01/2021 00:20

Ridiculous quantity of eggs at the moment. We normally get them delivered by the milkman once a week and use the box within. Week but over Christmas we didn’t use any eggs and suddenly have a backlog of 5 boxes. I don’t even eat eggs myself! Out of unsalted butter so will struggle with baking too!

PodgeBod · 07/01/2021 00:22

Still have loads of sweets from Christmas. And 2kg of chicken thighs in the fridge because the 1kg was unavailable. Now it has arrived it seems like a crazy amount!

DixieFlatline · 07/01/2021 00:22

Cheese. 2.5 blocks of cheddar, most of a packet of Camembert, a full packet of Brie, a little packet of Castello cheese with truffle, some feta and some grana padano. Oh and two tubs of cream cheese in different flavours.

NeedCoffeeToSurvive · 07/01/2021 00:24

@MissDollyMix You can freeze eggs! Separate the white and yolks and stick them in the freezer! A large ice cube tray with a lid works well for this or silicone moulds, just take out what you need and bring to room temperature before using.

Plantain Crisps. A friend kindly dropped of a bag of 12 for the children. They don’t like them!

iswhois · 07/01/2021 00:30

Crackers. Bought loads for Xmas then got them in moving in hamper.

Pipandmum · 07/01/2021 00:34

About 8 tins of chopped tomatoes and a couple dozen of microwavable rice packets.

Aquamarine1029 · 07/01/2021 00:34

Tomatoes, beans, eggs, cheese, pasta.

We also have an insane amount of sweets/chocolate given to us at Christmas that we rarely even eat. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it all.

LegendDairy · 07/01/2021 00:36

Squash. I have 9 butternuts, 5 turks turbans, 2 blue Hubbards. Harvested this year and the only thing that survived in the garden this summer. Thankfully they last quite well in the cupboard.

Nettleskeins · 07/01/2021 00:37

Lentils
Cheese

Everything else in perfect balanceSmile

GarlicSoup · 07/01/2021 00:44

Sprouts

AdaColeman · 07/01/2021 00:53

Cheese, lots of cheese, and awash with tins of biscuits too!

AtleastitsnotMonday · 07/01/2021 08:57

Paprika, currently 5 jars. I don’t like it much, but someone keeps buying more and it’s getting ridiculous.

ShaunaTheSheep · 07/01/2021 09:00

Bananas
Yoghurt

Going to make banana bread later, and find a yoghurt frosting recipe.

purplecorkheart · 07/01/2021 09:04

Chocolates from Christmas gifts. Tins of anchovies, pasta in various shapes

IHaveBrilloHair · 07/01/2021 09:09

Tinned soup, most of it from the first lockdown when I got it in the food boxes.
Cheese, but that's on purpose as I love it and eat loads.

Edgeoftheledge · 07/01/2021 09:48
