Cabbages

We get a vegetable box and get a big cabbage every single week... We're a family of four, including one preschooler and one baby, and nobody is a massive cabbage fan. So we struggle to eat one a week.

Normally I do a cabbage cheese bake (like cauliflower cheese) or cabbage stir-fry or fried in butter and cumin seeds. But there's still always so much more cabbage than we can or want to eat. Three untouched whole ones sitting here right now.

Anyone got any good cabbage recipes or ideas?

You could also try making your own sauerkraut.

It's nice in minestrone soup

Vaguely Germanic combo of rice + cabbage + sausages (all cooked together).

We sometimes use cabbage as non-carby vessel for sloppy joes/tacos etc.

Cabbage, sweet potato and coconut soup is good. Lots of recipes around.

Vinegar based slaws with endless variations of herbs, spices fruit or veg are great and taste better why left to sit.

Pan fried cabbage in salted butter.

Slow sauteed cabbage and lemon.

Roast, fried, boiled or raw I love it all ways.
