Just had the most amazing toastie. Triple decker, ham, melted cheese and chilli mayo. On seeded bread.
Best toastie filling opinions please?

Baked bean and cheese
Nutella and banana

Pastrami, cheese and sliced gerkins
Brie, prosciutto and onion marmalade

Mozzarella, pesto and chicken
Pastrami, Swiss cheese, mustard, tomato and gherkin
Ham, cheddar and apple sauce

Mini marshmallows, dark chocolate spread and banana
Dark chocolate and marmalade
Thinly sliced apple, a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon

Marmite and peanut butter

Now I want a Nutella and banana one, never done that!

My vote is for the classic tuna melt with plenty of cheese and spring onion.

Anything with cheese, I love it with red onion.

Instead of buttering the outside of the toastie with butter try mayonnaise. Game changer.

Ham, Brie and cranberry

Mozzarella, pesto and tomato.
Or, very controversially, cheese and pineapple.

Ooh, cheese and pineapple. I do love a Hawaiian pizza...

Mars bar.

Turkey slices, pastrami, emmental cheese, gherkins, mayonnaise, French's yellow mustard.

Bacon, brie & cranberry

Brie and fig jam on sourdough!

Leftover chilli and avocado- honestly it's worth making a batch of chilli just for this

Goats cheese , thyme and roasted mushrooms

The Boxing Day toastie- most anticipated toasted sandwich of the year, turkey, stuffing, ham, roast potatoes, cranberry, gravy and bread sauce. Yy to butter the outside with mayo! I bought an extra deep fill toastie maker to accommodate this delicious beast

With all you toastie experts on here can I ask your recommendation for a toastie maker?

Bacon and beans, delicious but will burn your mouth to third degree levels if not handled with care!

Definitely trying some of these, they sound amazing. Never thought to make a sweet one!

I have the breville deep fill with removable plates- it's brilliant and easy to clean. I was concerned the removable plates would mean uneven toastage- but that's not the case!

I've taken to just doing mine in a frying pan, not very healthy but very delicious

Corned beef and branston pickle.

Whatever you do...put mayo on the outside and fry it in a pan. It’s so much nicer.

Cheese and onion. With optional baked beans.

No hot mayo for me , the idea gives me shudders
