No egg, baking powder or yeast at home now. But I do have some flour (both plain and self raising) and long life milk. Can I still able to make something out of it?

Jamie Oliver has a recipe for pizza which is just SR flour, water and salt. It's yum!

Flatbreads. Do you have any plain yoghurt? Jamie Oliver has a great recipe for flatbread.

You want to come to this thread! What else do you have in the cupboard? Do you fancy sweet or savoury?

Have you got a tin of beans? The aquafaba(the liquid) is a good egg replacement. I think it's a tablespoon per egg but check

Iamtryingtobenicehere · 10/04/2020 15:29

I think I remember reading about using vinegar in place of eggs. You could make Yorkshire puddings or pancakes if you have vinegar. Although you’ll have to check out the recipe.

Someone i know made bread using mayonnaise
1 cup of self raising flour, half a cup of milk & tablespoons of mayonnaise’s just mix it all up and chuck in oven for 15 mins on 220

SerfNTerf · 10/04/2020 15:38

Have you got lemon juice or vinegar? If you sour the milk you can make soda bread :)

PineappleBun · 10/04/2020 15:51

If you've got some butter, margarine or lard you can make scones, add sugar or dried fruit for a sweet version.

White sauce (butter and flour to make the roux and milk for the sauce) add cheese off the job to make cheese sauce?

NewToRenting · 11/04/2020 13:49

Pancakes, just SR flour, with some milk, butter, sugar ...add water/ milk until batter looks right. Can mash in a banana if you have any.
