Amaretto AND... ???

Won a bottle of Amaretto at Christmas. I need ideas of what to drink it with! DH on way to supermarket shortly!! ;-)

A drop in warm milk is lovely!

Cranberry juice for a Bakewell Tartini (I didn't name it, don't roll your eyes at me ) or with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Both with ice.

Chambord and then cream poured over a teaspoon (like you would with a White Russian) into a shot glass and then down it in one 😋

Also amaretto sour - egg white shaken up with ice, amaretto and lemon juice in a shaker and strained into a glass. Lovely 👍

I used some in a homemade tiramisu - was lovely. Like the sound of a cherry bakewell drink too - might have to try that!

Cranberry and a squeeze of lime. And plenty of ice. Tastes like an almond bakewell slice.

Oooh. Amaretto is my drink!
I discovered that I REALLY like Amaretto thanks to the Cherry Bakewell cocktail in my local (think they use cherry syrup and coke). If I'm not having a Cherry Bakewell, I drink it with lemonade as I find it less overpowering than coke and you can better taste the almond. Never thought of using Cherry Coke. Bloody genius.

I tried it with Dr. Pepper. Just tasted like Dr. Pepper.

I had just boiled the kettle for tea. But now I'm having an Amaretto instead!

On it’s own over loads of ice.

Get some cantuccini biscuits to dip in it😊

Yum! DH buys me the mini cans as that easy the lemonade doesn't go flat as I drink infrequently.

Then. Not 'the easy'

I add a shot of vodka with the amaretto and cranberry.

pour over vanilla ice cream.

Cherry coke or dr pepper! has to be ice cold

Double shot of Ameretto, and double shot of malibu, with a long cherry juice, a splash of caramel or hazelnut syrup (coffee style syrup) served on ice 👌🏽 cherry bakewell... It's very sweet, but lovely. Or just with Coke is great too 🍸

Neat, over lots and lots of ice.

Hot chocolate!

Pour some in the bottom of the glass, add a scoop of good vanilla ice cream and then pour a hot shot of espresso over the top. It’s lovely

Cherries soaked in kirsch and a good slug of Prosecco on top of the amaretto. Now that’s a bakewell cocktail!!

It’s fantastic in hot chocolate 😋
