Just that, really. I get that chili etc tastes fab but it's such a faff (unless of course you are using leftovers as toppings).

Our standard toppings are:
tuna/sweetcorn
cheese
coleslaw
fried chorizo

I need some new ideas on what to bung on a jacket potato which is quick and easy to do.

Pickle.

Most sandwich fillers in pots - I particularly love a cheese and onion sandwich filler on a jacket potato. Also Philadelphia, especially the sweet chilli or onion and chives ones!

IHaveBrilloHair · 22/01/2020 17:08

Cheese savoury sandwich filling is my favourite one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/01/2020 17:18

I love baked sweet potatoes with mango salsa and a dollop of soured cream.

Baked potatoes with grated cheese and chopped onion mashed into the potato, put back into the shells and then baked again until crispy and golden.

Baked potatoes with Greek salad or a lemony spinach salad and some feta.

gaffamate · 22/01/2020 17:20

Baked beans with garlic roulade cheese - it kind of melts in.

Shredded ham with Philadelphia

Ballygowenwater · 22/01/2020 17:22

Jacket potato with pesto, feta and baby tomatoes with some cheddar melted on top. Tomato’s can go in cold or I often throw them in the oven with the potato and they are roasted

BillywigSting · 22/01/2020 17:31

Sausages and beans. Bung sausages in the oven with the potatoes.

Cheese and onion or coronation chicken sandwich filler out of a tub

Cream cheese and bacon, again just put the bacon in with the spuds and cook until crispy.

Chicken curry from a tin or chilli from a tin, I just microwave them

SleepWarrior · 22/01/2020 17:33

Tinned salmon with chopped up celery, mayo and lots of pepper stirred into it.

tiredsleepysleep · 22/01/2020 17:40

M&S do a sandwich filler pot which is salmon and cream cheese... it's bloody delicious! Very nice on toasted bagels too

SleepingInYourFlowerbed · 22/01/2020 17:42

Cottage cheese and chives

Twenty2 · 22/01/2020 17:44

Corned beef is surprisingly tasty on a jacket spud. Put it back in the oven for a bit and it sort of melts and goes soft. I also like it toasted on bread under the grill. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, if you fancy.

squee123 · 22/01/2020 17:44

I really like hummus on baked potatoes

PrincessHoneysuckle · 22/01/2020 17:46

JellyTeapot · 22/01/2020 17:56

BertieBotts · 22/01/2020 17:58

Corned beef and baked beans.

mummykauli7 · 22/01/2020 18:05

My go to

notdoingitanymore · 22/01/2020 18:10

You really can’t beat beans and grated cheese

Cream cheese, chunks of ham, spring onion

The tins of stagg chilli is good on a jacket potato if you’ve no leftovers of chilli you’ve home cooked.

Chochito · 23/01/2020 15:50

Tuna with raw red onion or spring onion

Tuna with chopped peppers

Tuna with cracked black pepper

Tuna with cucumber

Taramasalata is the tits on a baked potato
