Favourtie jacket potato toppings that don't involve cooking anything extra!

Just that, really. I get that chili etc tastes fab but it's such a faff (unless of course you are using leftovers as toppings).

Our standard toppings are:
tuna/sweetcorn
cheese
coleslaw
fried chorizo

I need some new ideas on what to bung on a jacket potato which is quick and easy to do.

CeibaTree I think that is genius, I absolutely LOVE a fried egg.

Corned beef is an INSPIRED idea, thank you! As is tinned salmon as an alternative to always having tuna.

I'm not very keen on baked beans, although do like beans in general, so might investigate that further.

Beetroot and feta cheese salad
Diced chicken or ham, pesto, and mozzarella cheese broiled so the cheese melts
Hummus, chopped olives and tomatoes
Leftover chilli
Pico de gallo (lime juice, coriander, finely diced - tomatoes, jalapeño)
Sweetcorn, cheese, mayo, green apple and sweet pickle

Our favourite is mixing up bacon, sour cream, cheese and spring onion. Yum.

Love all the other ideas though!

Butter, cheese, baked beans, cheese Uber hot baked beans so all the cheese melts.

Anything else seems like a waste of a lovely baked potato to me 🤣

But if you don’t much like beans (weirdo) there are lots of lovely suggestions here.

I think you might like corned beef (the tinned stuff, with a fried egg on top!

(Vegetarian, don’t eat eggs, so not for me!)

The twice baked can be very good too, but more of a faff. Occasionally I’ll do them for lunch (with other things) if people are coming over as they’re lovely, hot & so easy pre prepared (onion, cheese, cherry/piccolo tomatoes chopped very small).

My favourite baked potato is potato with butter, sour cream, grated cheese, sautéed onions and bacons with fresh coleslaw on top. Delicious 👍

Cheese and coleslaw. Cheese on first- the amount of times at a baked potato place they put coleslaw on first!!??? Criminal offence! 😂

Just remembered another one, although I have it on the side rather than as a topping as soggy potatoes with gloop are not my idea of fun:
Jarred gigantes plus tsatziki

And I agree that cheese followed by coleslaw is the correct order.

Cheese then coleslaw
Beans then cheese

Never the other way around.
