What are your favourite pizza toppings?

DH got a pizza oven for Christmas and we're having a pizza party tomorrow evening.

I always default to the same old things so please can you provide some inspiration before I head to the shops tomorrow?

Pepperoni, onions and peppers.
(With tomato sauce and cheese, obviously, otherwise it's not a pizza!)

Onions and peppers with a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese on a standard tomato base. (I like the Crosta & Mollica bases).

We normally use passata as the tomato base but found it difficult to use in the pizza oven as it made it all a bit wet.

Love the red pesto idea - thanks.

Italian sausage, peppers and mascarpone with rocket put on after its cooked. Drizzle with a wee bit of chilli oil and you're good to go.

Had the most incredible pizza on holiday last week. Mozzarella, Roquefort, pears, walnuts, aged Grana Padano and rocket. Bliss.

Not all on the same pizza, that would be a massive salt overload. I use tomato puree, it's much less wet than passatta.

Anchovies (brown in a tin kind) or the pizza express one from years ago, Alla Noci. I recall walnuts, rocket, parmesan, maybe something else... wonderful.

These all sound lush, especially pears and Roquefort. We have leftover Stilton so I'm hoping that might do the job as well!
