I'm feeling very unmotivated - four courses with a pink theme by Friday, please [ingratiating smile]

Need an uber pink menu.

I cook fairly 'cheffy' so all from scratch is fine.

I'd thought about pink champagne jellies for pud, with silver leaf flecks in 'em for bubbles (get me ), but I'm finding it hard to apply myself for the entree, fish, and main course. Alternative puds would also be gladly considered!

This really has to be the pinkest of all pink meals - go wild.

Please help me, I'll post ingratiatingly upbeat and complimentary comments on your threads for weeks to come......

No recipes here but some ideas:

Thousand Islands salad dressing is pink (quite easy to find the recipe in american websites)

Something like a salmon pate can be quite pink too.

I remember that pink sponge cakes were quite usual in the 70s (at least in my area of the world) you just need to add a bit of the red colourant (like those used to colour the icing) to the dough (having said that, perhaps the colourants are the reason why the pink cakes are not in use anymore
