So my partner (half-jokingly) suggested we make a Zombie Apocalypse kit for moments like those, with reasonably long-lasting snacks in it, to keep in the cupboard for emergencies.
Who wants a challenge?! What can we put in an emergency snack kit for a person with a RIDICULOUS situation like this?!
