If you like simple one pot healthy tasty meals, this book is for you. Have done several chicken ones, the duck one, and had the salmon and broccoli one this evening, amazing flavours, and so simple and quick! Strongly recommend.

I've just ordered all three (from the library), on all of your recommendations!

Please everyone post your favourites for us to give them a whirl...

OhMyGiddyAunty · 07/07/2019 18:34

*keep posting, I should have said!

Iamblossom · 08/07/2019 06:56

I’ve got all three books and rate them highly. I love the original book recipe for baked gnocchi with mozzarella, tomato and basil. It’s fab! We are eating a lot less meat due to the tasty veg recipes and don’t seem to be missing it.

BlingLoving · 08/07/2019 20:10

I've been on lookout for a new recipe book along these lines for easy family dinners. Thank you.

timeisnotaline · 08/07/2019 20:29

Oh I need the other two now! We make the salmon and couscous regularly, love it. Also the pasta and artichoke.

NanooCov · 08/07/2019 21:06

Just bought this today and looking forward to trying some recipes out. Think I may treat myself to a new roasting tin too. Any recommendations?

bugeyedbarber · 08/07/2019 23:05

Posts like that is why I love Mumsnet. Just bought it and can't wait to use it as feel stuck in the rut with my cooking. Thank you

It’s been on my amazon list for ages after browsing it in a bookshop - really shouldn’t buy any more cookbooks!

MeanMrMustardSeed · 09/07/2019 19:27

Can someone please tell me the dimensions of the tin they recommend using please?

Advisemeplease1 · 09/07/2019 19:30

Damn, why did I click on this??? Now I need these recipe books, and my bookshelf is already groaning under the weight of the ones I already own!!!Grin

Alliumlove · 09/07/2019 19:34

Oops. Blush I really should not have clicked on this. Blush

HelenaJustina · 09/07/2019 19:35

We have the veggie one and have just bought the quick one. Still haven’t had a duff recipe from them.

They scale up and down really well. I love doing the prep, bunging it in the oven, putting the kids to bed and then sitting down to a hot meal.

FurryTurnipHead · 09/07/2019 19:39

I have the veggie one and it's great. Really like the beetroot, chick pea and coconut curry, though it is very sweet, so now tend to swap beetroot for sweet potato and it's lovely. And the dhal with shallots and pomegranate is lovely too. Can't wait to try more!

SophiaLarsen · 09/07/2019 20:16

Are loads of the recipes nutty?

timeisnotaline · 09/07/2019 20:23

I have the other two winging their way to me. We are moving house, don’t need to be getting more stuff!

HelenaJustina · 09/07/2019 20:57

The lentil and puy lentil gratin is amazing from the veggie book. As is the leek, beetroot and bulgar wheat. And the halloumi and Brussels is a game changer!

BlueSkiesLies · 09/07/2019 22:00

I have the green one - so good!

TheRattleBag · 10/07/2019 01:06

At a quick glance it looks as though these should be pretty good for people wanting to cut down on carbs. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2019 01:12

Ooh, I like the look of these! Placemarking to remind me to order them.

AllTheCakes · 10/07/2019 08:27

@TheRattleBag There aren’t many carb recipes and a lot of the recipes use grains like spelt, pearly barley and couscous. Not sure if they counts as carbs?! Blush

notacooldad · 10/07/2019 08:30

Can someone please tell me the dimensions of the tin they recommend using please?
