Quorn makes my family ill

Worst parent award goes to me after a couple months of my daughter getting sick on and off ,vomiting diarrhoea and now a rash I’ve discovered the cause is quorn! And only because my partner had some and the same happened to him ,The company say it’s something like 1 in 200000 people will get a reaction to it but that’s two just in my household ,Anyone else intolerant to quorn ? it’s an interesting one

We used to eat a lit of quorn mince in spaghetti sauces as nobody could tell the difference, but about 2 years ago we started to get stomach aches after eating it .dont know if they changed something in the manufacture or the type of fungus but we haven’t eaten it since .

Family of veggies here, me, she and ds1 cannot eat it. We're doubled up with stomach pains an hour or so after eating it. The rest of the family are fine with it.

I used to stay with a family member occasionally. They are vegetarian and would often serve us Quorn as part of a meal. Everytime I went to stay with them I would come down with the same symptoms. Excessive wind, stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I never had these symptoms any other time. After the 3rd or 4th visit it suddenly clicked. That Quorn was the only thing I was eating with them that I didn't eat at home. Stopped eating it immediately and have never (in over 5 years) had the same problems again. I would never knowingly eat a Quorn product again
