What is your favourite toppings on a pizza?

I always go for the same - pretty boring ham and pineapple. So am looking for inspiration!

Mine is pepperoni and pineapple, which I thought would be laughed at as no one around here seems to have dreamt of combining the two!

A new favorite is from a local wood-fired pizza place and makes me feel posh as anything when I eat it. Pesto, fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, cracked almonds and dressed rocket with pecorino tossed on after it's baked. It's actually a heavenly combination.

Parma ham and rocket

Veggies (onion, peppers, sweetcorn, mushrooms) plus chicken. Although dominos give you an odd look for ordering veggie pizza plus meat.

If I’m drunk or husband has ordered, kebab meat and garlic sauce!

Spinach, egg and olive is the best! And you have to eat gradually from the middle and save the egg til last.

Ham, mushrooms, olives, anchovies.

Definitely not pineapple!

Bacon and mushroom. And lots of mozzarella, I love stringy cheese!!!

Goats cheese and artichokes are my favourite.
Blue cheese is lush as well.

Artichokes, capers, olives, sundried tomatoes, asparagus & mushrooms

Or pepperoni & sweet red peppers

Quattro stagioni or capricciosa (Parma ham, olives, mushrooms, artichokes).

I also love Diavola pizzas in Italy (spicy pepperoni and chilliest) or prawn and rocket.

Four cheese pizza with prawns, garlic, chilli oil and rocket.

It’s about the only thing I can still remember how to say in Italian from the summer I lived out there!! Mainly because I ordered it so much!!!

Normal everyday pizza ham, pineapple and mushroom all the way, plenty of black pepper.
Fancy wood fired fig, Gorgonzola and prosciutto

Mushroom, red onion, peppers.and pineapple.

Spicy beef, green chilli, red onion and sweetcorn. With a drizzle of bbq sauce

On our homemade ones I do Italian salami, mushrooms, red onion, peppers and mozzarella. Add asparagus when we have a glut to use up, or rocket, or crack an egg on. DH adds a lot of fresh chilli to his.

Oooh. Cheese. Tomato. Mushroom. Peppers.Pineapple. Capers. Hot chillies. And maybe an egg.

This thread has made me order dominos delivery for lunch today! I can't remember the last time I had dominos but liked the half half option. FYI I'm having half veggie feast and half of my own tailored pizza : mozzarella, tomato, ham, anchovies, red onion. !
