Mine's really strong/extra mature cheddar...what's yours?

A beautiful strong creamy Stilton.
I’d really like to be vegan... but cheese!

LemonysSnicket · 04/02/2018 23:11

Camembert or goats

TroysMammy · 04/02/2018 23:17

My favourite cheese is all the cheese I've ever tasted.

I had smoked mozzarella the other day, melted in a baguette with ham.

Longdistance · 04/02/2018 23:21

I love ALL cheese.

If dh and I go out for dinner we never have pudding but a cheese board.

We also go to cheese festivals 🧀🧀🧀😋

ChristianGreysAnatomy · 04/02/2018 23:43

I am a big cheese fan. Love the stuff.

It's not my all time fave but I do love paneer curry. Cheese in a curry? Oh yes indeed.

Kursk · 04/02/2018 23:44

I adore any hard very strong salty cheese - cheddars, red leicester type ones, aged gouda etc.

Plastic tasteless rubber is left on the shelf - although given so many people buy it there must be something they like about it.

TillyTheTiger · 05/02/2018 11:23

Shropshire blue, although I also have a soft spot for double gloucester (mainly because when we were little we called it 'globble duster' and it still makes me smile)

whatareyoueatingNOW · 05/02/2018 22:53

Big cat- I love perl wen and it's amazing blue neighbour perl las- if you haven't tried the latter, DO - it's brilliant.

kateandme · 05/02/2018 23:13

Depends on my mood and what I am using said cheese for

On crackers? Can't decide, I have written and scrubbed out 3452 types of cheese just typing this post! I love alpine cheeses though,
comte, gouda etc... (drools)
In a thick door stop sandwich with branston pickle? Strong crunchy chedder
Melted on the top of a bake? Mozzarella
In a salad? Goats cheese or manchego
Melted in a panini with mango chutney when I am hungover beyond all reason? Brie
With french bread on sunday evening with call the midwife on? Baked Camembert
Slathered on a stick of celery with some frosty white wine at a BBQ? Boursain
With my dads Christmas cake on boxing day evening? Wensleydale

Straight out of the fridge into my mouth? ALL THE CHEESE!

Basically I love cheese, and can't decide but there is a place for all cheeses in my stomach heart!

FawnDrench · 06/02/2018 18:11

Gorgonzola.
I could eat it till the cows come home, go out again and come home all milked the next day.

MrsMoastyToasty · 06/02/2018 18:13

I like an extra mature cheddar.

(I live about 15 miles from the town of Cheddar and the stuff sold in the tourist shops there is vile )

It’s a bit of a mood thing, but for now I’ll go with Époisses.

LefkosiaTigers · 09/02/2018 17:44

Gorgonzola.

But I love so many cheeses - halloumi, feta, Stilton, pecorino, mature cheddar, roquefort...
