What can I do with karydaki glyko (preserved walnuts)?

DH was given some preserved walnuts by Cypriot colleagues and I would like to do something with them but no idea what. Anyone come across these and have any ideas? Thanks

How about this recipe from Delia Smith Braised Venison

I do a similar one using beef rather than venison. Don't know if preserved walnuts are the same as pickled though.

weve used them in mushroom risotto
beef stew
as a salsa mix for stuffing and baking in a squash.
