Weird Sandwich Filling Combos

Ok I know there must be some that sound disgusting, but taste rather nice. My favourites are firstly toasted cheese and green chilli, secondly pate & tomato sauce. My dad likes jam and halved grapes.

Anyone willing to share their unsual sarnie fillings then?

I'm a cheese and jam fan as well. Also like peanut butter and jam so sometimes I used to have all three together - lovely.

mash potato

cheese and brown sauce

(had a freind in school who used to cut an orange in half, crumble an oxo cube on each half and eat once melted in.....eagh!!!)

also like a crunchy apple, bag of crisps and big chunk of cheddar as a snack!

Marmite and banana.

mine is cambozola and v rare roast beef on the finest white sliced. god it's good.

MotherInferior - I can highly recommend chilli and cheese toasties. I always sprinkle the chopped chilli first, and then put a generous amount of grated cheese over the top, and then grill. This way you never know when you are going to get a chilli . When I introduce this recipe to friends of mine, they always seem a bit wary - but hey once they do the love it.

FF - the thought of mashed sprouts in a sandwich gives me goosebumps....

Treacle and marmite in equal stingy quantities on buttered toast.

I had that for breaskfast this morning - and, no, I'm not pregnant.

I used to really like toast with pate and redcurrant jelly sandwiches and also peanut butter and salad cream sarnies and cold bolognaise sarnies! yum yum!

marmite and lettuce, a staple as kid in Nz or bread baked with butter, marmite and grated cheese until hard
or raw egg mixed with grated cheese and grilled on toast. goes all fluffy and lovely, so yummy!!!
I buy cheese with jalapeno in it, love chili and cheese!!!

I have never ever met anyone outside my family who likes cheese and jam like me .... I can't believe there are so many of you here that do too! Nice fresh warm toast, with butter, then slices of cheddar (or a dutch cheeses like edam or gouda works too) with raspberry or apricot jam on top .... delicioso!!!
My sister likes marmite and marmalade on toast ... now that IS weird!
We used to put sugar on peanut butter sandwiches ...
Oh ... and .... mashed bananas sprinkled with sugar in a sandwich ...
Is it any wonder that I am member of weight watchers?

Crunchy peanut butter with sliced sweet pickles

Buttered toast sprinkled with nutritional yeast (also like popcorn that way)

Onion bagels with butter and cinnamon sugar...but it has to be an onion bagel

DH likes cheese spred and ketchup sandwiches. By the time he comes to eat them at lunch time the bread has normally turned pink. Ugh.

Hot mashed potato with lots of butter. Nice with baked beans in it too.

My sister used to like Mars Bar and banana sandwiches, my Dad likes apple sandwiches and a friend's dd likes Dairylea cheese and stawberry jam together.
