Weird Sandwich Filling Combos

Ok I know there must be some that sound disgusting, but taste rather nice. My favourites are firstly toasted cheese and green chilli, secondly pate & tomato sauce. My dad likes jam and halved grapes.

Anyone willing to share their unsual sarnie fillings then?

Philly and strawberry jam, yum! Salad cream sandwiches (mayo will not do the job. Sliced apple sandwiches. Mmmmmmmm.

Raw garlic olive oil tomatoes and salt and pepper on toast
Cheddar and mustard
anchovies olives and quark

also used to have weetabix with butter when little and plain tomato sauce sandwiches and loved bread and dripping with the jelly stuff that settled out at the bottom of the bowl

cheese and onion crisps with garlic and herb philidelphia! mmmmm

sure it's a bit like potato salad, but nicer. my Irish nana used to make them for me, so they're particularly nostalgic...

Weetabix butter and jam needs explaining, its making me heave

Fishfingers with mayonnaise, ketchup and cheese. Toasted pitta bread with mayonnaise, marmite and cheese.

how could i forget fishfingers? with ketchup, on white bread

Cottage cheese, vinegar and sprouts

FF, I loved that when you made it for me last time you came to stay. It's delicious. Off to buy some sprouts. I think the girls can have a picnic tonight.

what kind of vinegar?

I'd use balsamic, FF would probably just use the chip shop type.

Pickled onion vinegar

I noticed the chip-shop stylee (sarsons, of course) now has an added twist of lemon variety, obviously for all us posh types

The sprouts must be boiled and then mashed, kind of like a spread
