Courgette watch!

I've been struggling to find courgettes locally, and thought it was just a local supply issue. Turns out there is apparently a national courgette shortage. So, stealth boast time - are courgettes plentiful where you are and will you post to Gtr Manchester

I can't find any either! I'm in Hampshire. So annoyed, I want to make courgette spaghetti!

Nope, even my trusty local grocery only had a few. NE.

They are easy to grow and taste nicer than shop ones. Think of the food miles.

I've got three massive Ines in the fridge (not a euphemism).

None on ocado

TheFlis, I'm jealous, I'm in SE25 and couldn't find them for love nor money last weekend! Even Sainsburys online refused to deliver them... I want to make minestrone soup

I've had spiralized courgette the last 3 weeks. Both Morrisons and Aldi have plenty of it here.

OverScented I grew loads over the summer, but cold, dark and damp Manchester in January is not ideal

Ocado is short here in the south east. I thought it was all the clean eaters.

Get ye over to Sainsburys Isle of Wight .. they had loads in just now (and I didnt buy any ).. but we are a bit behind the times here.. !!

My Ocado (in the south east) is showing no fewer than 11 different options for courgettes.

Laska would love to, but just a tad too far from Manchester!

I had no idea! Am in Bristol and havent noticed a shortage at all! Even chucked some away last night that had been reduced and we didn't eat in time. Sorry!

Most of the options are out of stock for me apart from mini ones and Ocado own brand. Can't get an organic one.

I have two in my fridge (cost me about £1 each last week!) and no idea what to do with them. Must not end up in the bin, but my usual ways with a courgette don't seem worthy of its increased rareity!

I couldn't buy any today - nothing in my local Tesco Express or Sainsbury's Local.

Haven't been able to get them for the last couple of weeks on my Tesco online shop.

I'd love to help but unfortunately I only clicked on this to find out how courgettes could tell the time.

Another one in Hampshire and I've had no problem. I love courgette so will be gutted if they become scarce.
