Morning,

Anybody else going to have to screen shot a lot of recipes before the BBC takes them off their website? I'd better get started!

One thing I'm a little unsure of though, does it include the BBC Goof Food website? I'm not sure it does, but if it does, I'll be staying up all night to save them!

Argh! what have I just read! I love the BBC food site

Given the amount of recipes that have been copied over the years I don't think we will struggle to find more lol.

I only ever use it via Google Cleaty, I would have assumed that's how most people use it. I never browse it, just type butternut squash soup or whatever into google and my first choices are usually BBC and BBC Good Food.

Why is it being removed? What is the rationale??

Someone has set up a website that allows you to search the BBC Food recipes

www.auntiesrecipes.co.uk/

Bonnie, did you not know that men use Mumsnet? Lots of them!!!!! Have you missed the 'By parents for parents'? That includes men.

Justine, that was a lovely thing to do thank you.

WhoKnows - I never use it that way. If I did I wouldn't care so much about it going. I browse for ideas and it easily the best site for that.

I don't browse any cookery websites, I alwsys google so I've no idea whether it's better in that regard, but I do like it better than most others because the recipes are clear, reliable and it has a great database of TV programme recipes.
