Japanese curry & rice
Chicken, leek & mushroom creamy pasta
Spanish omelette & salad
Vegetable chilli & rice
Chicken & vegetable biryani
Beef stew
Baked potatoes with beans, cheese, coleslaw (whatever)

DD will probably reject it all, as usual, as none of it involves sausages... Grin

Remus - this Grin We've used the Chinese style paste for a few years, it's very easy & tastes pretty good. Just trying the Japanese one out this week.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/01/2016 17:40

Thank you. Where do you buy it?

IHaveBrilloHair · 30/01/2016 17:42

I use //this one
It works equally well with breaded, pressed tofu as I have done that too, and king prawns, obviously sub the chicken stock for veg stock.

I am so fed up with eating the same bloody things all the time, but cannot be bothered trying to get motivated. So this week's looks like most other weeks...

Sun - kale and mushroom lasagne
Mon - tofu chow mein
Tues - salmon with sweet potato wedges and prob broccoli and fine beans
Wed - spaghetti carbonara (mushrooms instead of bacon)
Thurs - I had down omelette and salad. Dd would rather eat her own leg, apparently.
Fri - jacket potato and salad. Egg mayo for me, cheese for dd.

Running order subject to change depending on state of salad/veg. Aldi stuff doesn't tend to last v well, so am at its mercy.

InTheTeapot · 31/01/2016 00:08

Tuesday meatballs and spaghetti
Wednesday soup.
Thursday Hairy Bikers flattened spicy chicken

Tues - Lamb Tagine & Couscous

Monday- something using leftover roast chicken, with pasta
Tuesday - tuna melts
Wednesday - jacket potatoes with different topping choices
Thursday- chicken dippers & chips (adults something else)
Friday - pesto pasta for kids, curry for adults
