Grin at 'freezer surprise'

Haven't 100% planned yet, pending Slimming World tomorrow.

DH will be having different meals to DD and I as I'm sick to death of trying to make meals that are healthy for me & filling for him and him moaning. If that means he ends up with ready meals/pre-prepped food then so be it.

Tomorrow we're all having mojito chicken, sweet potato wedges & avocado & mango salad.

Tuesday will be spag bol for DH, chilli & lemon tuna with broccoli spaghetti for me. Not sure for DD yet as she won't eat either, but might make something similar to mine but with chicken.

Weds DH has a steak pie with spuds & veg. DD and I will probably have jackets with beans (and cheese if we can get away with it) & salad.

Thursday - curry. Hairy Dieters Chicken Korma or SW Tikka Masala for me and DD, something with a bit more oomph for DH.

Friday - Pizza & salad with chips for DH

Saturday - not sure as have daytime family do for FILs 70th, so will depend on what we eat there and when we get home. Possibly sticky chilli & ginger salmon/chicken with stir fry veg & rice

Sunday - roast beef with all the trimmings.

CaptainWarbeck · 08/02/2016 07:54

On our list:

River Cottage's courgette and rice filo pie & salad. Haven't made this before and it looks like a bit of a faff, I hate working with filo.

Grilled macaroni cheese with lots of mustard and veg in

Curried baked potatoes

Spicy ricey (basically tomatoey chipotle/cumin/paprika beany rice with fried halloumi in and an egg plonked on the top with plenty of chilli sauce)

Beetroot and dill burgers. Might stretch to homemade sweet potato wedges too, the baby loves them.

We are trying really hard to be organised at the moment with a meal list stuck to the fridge and a symbol next to each meal showing who's cooking it. So far so good!

Went out for a fish supper on Monday, so will try to be healthier the rest of the week!

Tuesday - spinach and mushroom omelette
Wed - DH is cooking my post-run pasta meal. Nigel's mustard and sausage one-pot probably
Thurs - chicken stir-fry
Fri - at my parents, so it'll be salmon and broccoli, it's the roolz!
Sat - Baked potato with curry
Sun - Valentines Day something. Might resort to the M&S dine in collection.
