DH has been given a copy and we thought we'd try out some recipes this weekend as a vegetarian friend is coming for lunch. What would you recommend? We eat pretty much anything. Thanks Grin

Have a look here :)

But fwiw, my favouritest thing is the chermoula aubergine with bulghar wheat. And the conchiglie with peas, yoghurt and pinenuts.
Oh, and the roasted cauliflower salad with celery, hazelnuts and parsley is to die for..... Grin

The pearl barley risotto is really nice, as is the baby spinach salad with dates and almonds (although we use cubed panini or ciabatta rather than pitta).

It's a great book - enjoy! Smile

Oh it's fabulous - haven't faulted a single recipe we've tried! Salads are amazing!

Thank you all and thanks Huevos for the link - I thought the Cookery Book club had done Jerusalem but you've saved me hunting for the link Flowers

Well we made the spiced chickpea and fresh vegetable salad (but omitted the chickpeas as we were having those in another dish) and roasted aubergine with fried onion and chopped lemon. Could have used more feta in the latter but both recipes were really tasty and went well with Ottolenghi chard squash and chickpea saute which we found on the net. We loved all of it as did the friend we has for lunch Smile
