Does it look like this ?

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:27

Squash is like a pumpkin as in butternut squash

oranges · 26/07/2006 15:29

its yellow courgette honest, friends could not identify it in their veg box either.

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:36

Is it one of these ?

meowmix · 26/07/2006 15:39

sounds like a spaghetti squash to me - whatever you do don't boil it.... goes like marrow, shudder. that said I've honestly never found a nice way to cook it!

ComeOVeneer · 26/07/2006 15:41

That is what I was thinking carmenere. Aren't they called patti pan, or something?

trinityrhino · 26/07/2006 15:41

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:41

Oh I love spaghetti squash, halved, deseeded, roasted, and then the strands tossed in melted butter and a little chilli powder, yum!

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:42

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:46

Oh sorry TR do you mean about the veg boxes? They are the ones you get delivered weekly by organic veg companies, I think?

trinityrhino · 26/07/2006 15:47

Carmenere · 26/07/2006 15:49

Do a search, Able and Cole do them and cover most areas in the South East. Have a look here
