Inspire me what are you all having for tea tonight?

DH won't be in till 9.30 tonight and will expect dinner on the table but not sure what to cook tonight. Have most meats in the deep freeze (can defrost in magic box if I need to) loads of veg pasta and rice so come on inspire me to create a gourmet master piece.

Lasagne (the remains of yesterday's dinner), chips, salad and a nice cold glass of white wine.

(What's a magic box, BTW?)

I made, from scratch, Thai green vegetable curry and served it with noodles.

Yellow Split Pea soup made with sweet potatoes, apples and onions, spiced with tumeric, curry, cumin and cinnamon stick. Quite Yummy!

Microwave has allways been called a magicbox in our house for some reason.

Feel all swaety and bloated now though.

All sounds good must get my bum into gear and start doing something creative or I could just throw a spag bog with garlic bread together!!!!!

Utter rubbish, party time here.

pasta,roast veg(fennel,carrot,tomato,pepper,mushroom),cream sauce with a bit of basil,loads of white wine mmm.

I had something really delish
Kids were starving after swimming so they had pasta which I didn't fancy.
So I did a bowl of salad, tomatoes, cucumber (I love salad in a bowl), flaked up a bit of salmon left from last night, then crispy fried some bits of bacon in olive oil and poured it over the top. Bit of mayonnaise and bobs your uncle a lovely filling but light meal.
Will defo do it again.

ohh that does sound nice unfortunatly the salad all looks a bit limp and unappetising here.

Kids had homemade breaded cod goujons with chive and mustard mayo, wholewheat pasta, broccoli and carrots

dh is having venison casserole with new potatoes

Homemade raspberry and vanilla ice cream to follow

I am having weightwatchers soup, apple and diet coke

God GS,what a lot of work that sounds!

I had steak and couscous salad - with home grown tomatoes in it

Am going through a cooking frenzy moony....dh thinks he's died and gone to heaven

Plus harvesting fruit/spuds/shallots etc from garden, so loads of jams/ice creams/sorbets/casseroles etc going into freezer

kids had hotdogs in the garden earlier

Yes moondog, one of those shallow pasta type bowls. Don't know why. And I always eat it with just a fork, no knife. Who knows why!

Am going to a bbq but have made a roast vegetable thing to stir through pasta to give to my mate tomorrow who is emigrating to Australia next week.

my fave!

DH made that for us last night piffle!
