I made fudge last night - I don't have a sugar thermometer.
I have made successful fudge before but this time it hasn't set.

Think warm molasses in consistency.
I don't want to bin it, what can I do/use it for?

Help!

oooo nice but I have a HUGE tub of it.

Roll in coco - I'm listening.
Into sweet balls Xmas Grin

It has white chocolate and minstrels in it.
I've never made banoffee pie, is it hard? - love the yule log idea but I have minus time to do it and would definitely probably screw that up too.

Cheesecake type thing?

RebeccaTheHallsMumsnet · 24/12/2012 10:25

It's like room temp Nutella

RebeccaTheHallsMumsnet · 24/12/2012 10:26

Actually fudge cheesecake does sound a bit grim, enjoying the idea of freezing it and handing it over and watching it melt

@SavoyCabbage

I would put it on a biscuit base and make it into a pudding.

Cream on top? It would be very very sweet

It was vair vair sweet but really good.

Biscuit base of digestives crushed with butter and left to set. Poured runny goo fudge over the top, cut up two large bananas and layered them on top of goo, added whipped cream and chocolate buttons to decorate.

I served it with ice cream and the crowd went wild people said it was yummy.

Bafudgey Pie will be added to recipes vair soon.

Merry Christmas all and thank you for helping me to savage the fudge.
