I've got the most monstrous feverish cold and am really ick. It's almost half two and I've eaten nothing, only drunk a cup of tea and some orange juice.

Actually, I got a really cool job directing from Twitter! A theatre said that they were the first to direct a particular sort of musical. I tweeted them and said, no you're not, as I've directed two before you so they invited me in for a meeting and I got a job.

Poor Showy. No problem though, I don't think any of us are sharing in public. Except possibly Tee. I started following you yesterday, Italian name with 2 initials after.

Am feeling better today, stopped with the mopey-drawers act Had to go to bed at 7,30 last night - I crashed and couldn't function. Think I was literally exhausted, emotionally and physically (the hospital I went to was like a bloody city, with limited parking. Must have walked 3 miles to the clinic!)

Surprised me how much it all affected me, I expected to be disappointed but not to cry over it and feel so down! Tee is currently in my best books anyway - she said what I wanted to hear, everyone else tried to gee me up (which is also very lovely, thank you xx ) but Tee my dear, you hit the nail on the head with your very simple message - thank you xx

Anyhooo. Need to stay awake this eve as DD is off to youth club in 5 mins, so I can't go to bed early again

What twitter is really great for is trends.

I find it great for political stuff too. For example, the student "riots" on Millbank which were reported on the news as being thousands of students rioting about fees was absolute bullshit. I work very near there and on my lunch break saw that it was a peaceful protest, it was only later on that things got out of hand with a handful of people. The news reported it in a way that was very far from the actual truth.

On Twitter you were able to see the real truth as you could see exactly what was happening on the ground as it happened.

I am on twitter! I don't understand it yet, I have the same name as on fb.
I have only found Tee so far.

I saw shows dd via a link on fb empress I believe twitter and fb can be linked I don't get it.

Big news around here, which some of you saw, was me thinking I might be up duff. Test was negative, thank god, but I think the Mirena is not settling at all and making me feel ill and pregnant. Will see GP next week.
