ooh, State, great minds think alike eh? (IRL to the pram choice!) Good to know about the hard wearing fabrics of the Brittax range. I have always had Britax car seats and will be using DD's 'big' seat for baby when old enough - had it 5/6 years now and still in good condition.
Mum wasn't too impressed with it being a 3 wheeler (thinks they are pretentious 
) until I explained that both myself and ex have dogs to think about, dogs who like to go on long walks. She has since gone around telling all who will listen that ex needs 3 wheels for all the walking he does. I despair sometimes. (in a lighthearted way) Ex's contribution was that it is "well smart" 
he does make me laugh, bless him.
So, looks like today is the day of purchase - eeeeee!!! Kiddicare are out of stock so going to see what Babies R Us will do, they said they would price/brand match, I am sure they won't be turning down a sale too hastily.

Shaky brilliant news. Ignorance is no excuse though, on her behalf, and it sounds like she has been put firmly in her place. Next time, with other staff, she will be more equipped to deal appropriately and sympathetically. So pleased that everything is turning out well for you. I credit getting back to work with my recovery from depression, it helped a lot and it helped that new work were aware of my issues and supportive (still are).
Snow let me know how you go on with your hunt for your phone. My best --friend is an area manager for a well-known phone shop and has ridiculous amounts of old phones in the store room. You never know, he may have something or he could possibly recommend something similar.
