Awful morning here too, rushed round getting them both ready as they slept in an hour longer than usual, took 3 attempts to get dds hair presentable and tight --to keep the beasties out-- lost a school shoe, the usual, dp ran them there in the car as there's no way I could get myself ready aswell at my snail pace. Ds starts at 8.40 and dd 8.50.
He'd just got back had a cup of tea and nursery ring stating dd isn't well... So back he goes. Dd has a cough yes, but dd used this to come home as her best friend was off sick... Dd has been a bit quiet but dd is fine watching dvds and taking advantage of being home when she shouldn't be!
tee I packed my bag with ds about 6hrs before I arrived at the hospital, can't remember doing dds at all I must have though. But this time I've turned into a mad women who must be organised and prepared, that said I will more than likely unpack, repack a stupid amount of times.
Dp is being mildly more insane and said we should leave the carseat base strapped in 'incase' I actually laughed at him I'm flaming huge and I leant into the middle seat and belted that in tightly in a minute, I did explain leaving the hospital takes hours anyway and to calm down! I'm starting to wonder if he remembers anything!
If any of you remember things that were really useful in your bag let me know, im taking my own pillow this time for sure!
Anyway I'm off to make cream of tomato soup, ill bring some back for you all :)
