Thought I'd do:

1st Course : Antipasti -mortadella parcels, anchovies, mozzeralla, tomato, brushettas, russian salad and cold meats

2nd course: pasta - possibly a linguine with seafood or a penne with homemade pesto

3rd course - main - Chicken breasts with sparkling wine & cream served with potato and bacon gratin and baby veg

4th course - desert - HELP - I'm not sure. Was thinking something light, something easy and possible something to go with homemade coconut icecream?????

5th course - cheese, biscuits and grapes

6th course - coffee and home made biscotti

best thing ever - a scoop of lemon sorbet with a shot of vodka poured over the top - garnish with a sprig of mint and you're done -easy-peasy and is fab!

Feistybird · 21/03/2006 21:57

ponceiono

I will serve something uo to DP and tell him it's 'ponceiono'.

Tiramisu is quite easy yes - there are numerous recipes on the internet try \link{http://www.cadbury.co.uk/EN/CTB2003/kitchen_lifestyle/recipes/chocolate_treats/tiramisu_crown.htm\this} or \link{http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/w/recipe/r69/tiramisu.html\this} Use whatever alcohol you like although I always get drunk making it swigging Amaretto & Kahlua.. Blush
