The Cookbook has been published!!! You are all now famous!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Everyone, I just wanted to let you know that my cookbook has been published and I wanted to thank everyone that contributed to the book. Your recipes make it so unique and authentic--I could never have done this without the support of Mumsnet. If anyone would like to have a look you can go to this site:

I have listed your names (internet names mostly) next to each one of your recipes along with any stories you gave me, and have included lots more recipes of my own and friends, family and neighbors here in the States. We have sold about 125 of them so far and are well on our way to raising funds toward my daughter's trip and toward her Girl Scout Troop (Girl Guides as you call them). Again, the support of Mumsnet is fantastic and I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate you. Love, Sunchowder

I haven't checked yet Nemo--I will go to the POST OFFICE and see. It's just a little thing book, hopefully can't be more than $8 dollars, right? I will check on it.

Sunchowder, congratulations. BTW did you get my email last week? I went to the post office to pick up the parcel but they had sent it back (they were supposed to keep it 3 weeks but - so they say it must have been stored in the wrong place and was sent back after 2 (just after we returned from our holiday). Have you got it back yet?

ChicagoMum, I didn't get your email last week! I can't believe it! No, I did not get it back in the mail--I paid a bit extra to get it there earlier too. I didn't realize you were going away for a holiday. Oh well...I guess I will wait for it to come back then. Sorry!

OK, have checked the Post Office Website, it will cost $4.85 American to send slow boat (4 to 6 weeks), and $9.50 to send it Express (4 to 6 DAYS). So...$4.85 is the better buy as long as you can be patient. Thanks so much again! And it will all look so much better in POUNDS :o I believe that Pay Pal translates all of the monies too.
