Brown bread with avocado instead of butter, sliced tomato, fresh cooked chicken pieces, alfalfa sprouts and lettuce. Yummy, can't beat it!
I worked in a sandwhich bar in Oz for a while and we let people choose there fillings. Basic charge for bread (brown, white, rolls etc all the same price) and then charged a fixed price per filling. Lettuce and tomato were free!

lucy5 · 07/03/2006 20:39

Feta tomato and cucumber in a pitta bread. Is my absolute fav.

Also love ham, cream cheese and dates. Used to ask for this at a made to order place and got funny looks though.

There is a fab sandwich shop where I live, you spend half of your lunch hour queing just to get served it's so good and so busy.

Anyway my favourite sandwich filling they do is Chicken, bacon and spring onion in mayonaise, it's just so delish I love it. Sadly my hips also love it and I really do need to cut back on my outings there.
