what are they called and where'd you get them?

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 11:04

Wait, you bought them? Or did you make them?

It's funny, FaZ and her aversion to Gap - her televised doppleganger has an aversion to Pottery Barn, which is the furniture equivalent of Gap, I think.

And yes we have birthday parties this month so it'll be hula hoop heaven for Quinoa Boy

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 18:54

Will send it again now....

ssd · 24/02/2006 20:10

so what are they then or is it a secret??

expatinscotland · 24/02/2006 20:12

Just bought a pair of jeans from Gap.com today. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. My sister's house is a shrine to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware and her bathroom smells like Victoria's Secret. Love 'er, love 'er, love 'er.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:13

I am not 100% sure what cod has actually got, but what I asked her to get was organic apple crisps or plain unsalted potato crisps, both of which they have stopped selling in my local M + S.

She is a good and kindly fish at heart, you know.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:16

And as for this whole "televised doppelganger" thing, harrumph.

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 20:22

Someone else explains why FaZ/Phoebe hates Pottery Barn: "I know, she says it?s all mass-produced, nothing is authentic, and everyone winds up having the same stuff."

FaZ/Phoebe finds out that all the furniture she's loving is from Pottery Barn: "No-no-no, but I am mad! I am mad! Because this stuff is everything that is wrong with the world! And it?s all sitting up in my living room and all I can think about is how I don?t have that lamp!"

Apple crisps are strange but quite tasty. I think I like those horrible Prince Charles veggie crisps better, though.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:36

I think stating that I and Phoebe are one and the same is actually going a bit too far, NQC

I don't play the guitar, for a start.

expatinscotland · 24/02/2006 20:37

bet she trawls around Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn AND Potter Barn KIDS websites.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:39

Who is she? Me? Phoebe? We are not the same person, you know, despite NQC's smear campaign.

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 20:42

Ok, I don't think you're the same.

Phoebe didn't bf her babies, and she shows no evidence of an interest in Salinger.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:44

She is not a real loveable kook, then, she is just some faux kook.

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 20:45

Well, she's not real, as she's a fictional character, but she does seem like a genuine lovable kook.

She didn't bf her babies as they weren't hers, she carried her brother's triplets, as his wife couldn't carry children. She gave them to her brother at birth, so couldn't really bf. (One of the better outlandish ways to cope with an actress' real-life pregnancy, I think.)

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 20:46

Or is it the lack of interest in Salinger? TV people generally don't love books.

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 20:47

She carried her brother's triplets???

Good lord. What will they think of next?

NotQuiteCockney · 24/02/2006 20:49

She did enjoy telling people that the father of the babies in her stomach, was her brother (the genetic mother was her brother's wife).

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 21:00

I am letting this one go.

Oi, cod, where are my crisps?

hunkermunker · 24/02/2006 21:04

FaZ, DS1 had quinoa and red lentils for lunch - hand-knitted

I like apple crisps. DS1 likes twiglets...

FrannyandZooey · 24/02/2006 21:08

Quinoa and lentils - ooh get you

We have a birthday party next week and the hostess emailed me (unprompted) a list of all the party food she is going to serve, complete with ingredient lists and commentary! "The party rings do contain sugar, but no hydrogenated oil" etc etc etc.

She is very sweet and knows me all too well.
