What's for dinner tonight?

Today I am making a chicken soup from the carcass and leftovers from the jerk roast chicken I made yesterday and added Pearl Barley, that soup mix stuff that has lentils, peas oats and such, some pearl barley and asparagus with a can of sweetcorn. I added some chilli flakes and jerk seasoning to give it more kick.

sausages and garlic bread with corn on the cob, mushrooms (only for me) and various salady bits depending on preference. Just about to start cooking.

DD has a friend over, they're having sandwiches, crisps, cocktail sausages and home made chocolate butterfly buns - I've given up cooking for fussy school friends and they've both had a hot school dinner.

When DD and friend have gone to Brownies we're having Penne with a mushroom & extra light philli sauce (and a butterfly bun) - it's quick and easy night.

I am going to have Quesedillas with dips and the last glass of Pinot in the bottle in the fridge. Mmmmmmm.

DH away for the week so I can just think about me me me!

Children had toad in the hole and baked beans, plus the candy floss that DD made at nursery today; DH and I will be having beef stroganoff and rice later.

Roast chicken. I can smell it cooking already.

jojo please can I come round to yours for supper?

Although i might pop into Gnocci's on the way home for a glass of pinot

I love me a nice pinot.

Me and the children will have a stew with chicken thighs,rice and fennels sald. Followed by strawberries

dh plays football on mondays, will probably have pizza with friends afterwards.

Greek lamb with orzo, with a feta and spinach salad. DD's and my mindees have just had the same and hoovered it up.

How do you make candy floss? I wouldn't know where to start.

Massive tortilla type thing with leftover chicken, veg etc with salad for them. Not sure what I'm having yet

Take away curry this eve. Feeling a bit sorry for myself with a very stiff neck and shoulder (stink of deep heat). Chicken bhuna, popadoms, plus half a naan and half a pilau rice. Hoping that does the trick and cheers me up!

Also just phoned for a takeaway... AFAIK the first since DS was born. I've ordered falafels with salad and chips, tabbouleh, labneh and baba ghanoush. Mmmm.

Kellamity you are more than welcome. We'll have to half it mind, but can half fill the glass with ice so it feels like we have a full glass each. Classy me, see.
