Baked Monk in cream with breadcrumbs and cheese on top served with new potatoes and Mediterranean veg. That's what we had for dinner tonight on our weekly fish night. Scrummy :)

SpannerPants · 07/03/2012 09:20

I made some spinach and ricotta cannelloni last night and it was lovely! Dead easy to put together as well :)

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 07/03/2012 09:23

This with chicken instead of bacon and olive oil instead of butter. Delicious and so easy.

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 07/03/2012 09:24

Which rosemary chicken recipe Essential? The one with tomato sauce?

Ragwort · 07/03/2012 09:24

Baked Monk Grin - sounds tasty !

MrsMuddyPuddles · 07/03/2012 09:25

The macaroni with peas by HFW, based on the reccomendations here. I never would have thought to use purreed peas as a sauce, but it works :)

Lamb and apple burgers which were far far nicer than we expected. Had chillies in too for a bit of bite.

chocolateshoes · 07/03/2012 19:24

we had this yesterday - with veggie sausages as we don't eat meet. Very easy & very tasty.

thereistheball · 07/03/2012 19:49

Breaded fish, lots of steamed veg, and a sauce made of thick natural yoghurt, lemon, minced garlic and lots of chopped coriander.

HowToLookGoodGlaikit · 08/03/2012 17:25

Mavaroni peas here too, my DS loves his "alien pasta"!

HowToLookGoodGlaikit · 08/03/2012 17:26

tethersend · 08/03/2012 17:33

DD has requested spare ribs next week - is the moondog recipe in the mumsnet recipe section?

Thin sliced pork loin chops marinaded in mixture of golden syrup which has been loosened with light soy sauce and some 5 spice (I use 1tbsp golden syrup, 1tbsp soy sauce and 1/2tsp 5 spice per person) done in george foreman grill and served with instant noodles mixed with petis pous. I marinade the pork in the morning and at dinner time it's 15minutes to cook.

thestringcheesemassacre · 08/03/2012 22:43

essential no I don't think it is. Just search her name and ribs and it will come up a few times. They were mouthwatering.

Ok we had pak choi and salmon tonight. It was a 6/10 Meal for me. I would make it every do often for a change but it's not a new favourite for us...

Pork "risotto" with pesto and peppers here is really yummy and very easy to do. I miss out the tomatoes though as they didn't seem quite right.

I do this every couple of weeks and it always goes down really well.

Nice with chicken instead of the pork too.

pollywollywoowah · 18/03/2012 20:20

Oh and this crunchy garlic chicken was very nice.
