in that same 12 minutes boil up some sweetcorn and some peas and mash up some tuna from a can.

still it all in the collander mix it up and make a pretty pattern on the plate - like a speedboat or a castle.

2 mins for toast - 2 mins for buttering it and cutting it - 3 mins for egg 5 mins for beans - lets say 20 mins in total.

Wholemeal pittas, hummus and salad. Remove from hummus and salad from fridge. Toast pittas. Ta-da! 3 minutes, or 4 if you dawdle.

Pasta, red pesto, can of tuna and can of sweetcorn, optional grated cheese. Fab hangover food too. Takes as long as the pasta takes to cook.
