DD3 has requested these for a family event on Saturday.

I am far too much of a snob progressive to put them on cocktail sticks.

Anyone with a funky way of doing it?

I fail to see your point ... you could have used the rind as shoes Grin

This has reminded me of our reminiscing about stews that your Mum could keep going for 5 days, with various potato accompaniments if you were lucky...

Did they not have fruit mines?

StarlightMcKenzie · 06/05/2011 23:58

Why do you have to cover the grapefruit in foil? Confused

Honeydragon · 07/05/2011 00:02

its classy innit.

Or you cut a grape in half and stuck on little eyes

StarlightMcKenzie · 07/05/2011 00:04

No. Perhaps if it was like multi-coloured metalic foil, but that silver stuff just looks naff. Straight into the grapefruit looks more 'homely' and 'natural' and posh.

How about sticking them on a dart board on the wall?

Damn right she could keep stews going or days!

It is a large potato, covered in foil. The cocktail sticks can be brightly coloured plastic though, especially for a children's party.
